Wrestling under his real name, Hiromu Takahashi, he competed in two Best of the Super Juniors tournaments, but suffered repeated losses consistent with his position as a young lion. In 2014, he joined CMLL with a new name and mask, and soon found himself in a career-making feud with Dragon Lee.
